Happy Diwali

Diwali is a festival of lights. To me,it is associated with happiness, joy, togetherness, exchanging sweets, wearing new clothes, having fun galore with friends and family.

Firecrackers and fireworks have always been synonymous with Diwali. But over the years they have been known to have adverse impacts in the form of pollution and accidents.

So this year lets celebrate Diwali without fireworks and ensure a better, cleaner and safer surrounding to live in.

Heres wishing you all a safe Diwali.Have a great day!

Diwali for us starts here with almost 3 hours of non stop calling up people in India….sigh!!! By the time the battery discharges totally from all the mobiles, we are pretty discharged too πŸ˜› some rest and frolicking and then diwali celebrations in a nearby Temple with friends πŸ™‚ and yup I get to gorge on sweets

What are you guys up to?

D: πŸ˜† .R & I lit some diyas,N blew them off thinking they were b’day candles and then when told not to do so,she stood up with her hands folded and started praying πŸ™‚ .Thats how our celebration started! Then we had brief fun with some pop-pop snappers πŸ™‚

  4. Belated Diwali wishes, Deeps! Nammukutty had a good time? I just saw in a comment above that Namnam wanted to blow out the candles – here Kunju was exactly the same! She was just not happy with so many candles and not blowing it out πŸ™‚

Lots of hugs and ummas for Namnam!
