The only downside of a weekend is that your child doesn’t even want to acknowledge that you’re around as she wants to make the most of the day by spending all her time with her Papa…. and maybe even complain about how much of a mean & a bickering mom you’ve been through the week π¦ π¦
I know!! I look forward to weekends so I can get some time away from Saumya but when she doesn’t seem to care if I am around I become the cry baby looking for attention!!
Hmmm…..motherhood, the double
edges sword!!
D: I know!! We want the best of both the worlds. Simple. π

Oh! And how I wish I could enjoy some similar ‘me-time’ over the weekends. Come weekend, and one has to pamper not one kid but two!!!!
D: How sweet! Here, forget about pampering, the father-daughter duo resort to bullying the poor Mom π¦

Yes I agree with the above comments…she’s too used to having you around…
One day without you and she’ll go nuts..
D: I should seriously try putting all your advices into effect π π
Besides being a daddy’s daughter chances she runs to him for pampering π hence such comments..

Yup, even I feel a twinge, when after slogging for the brats the whole day, in the evening Papa dearest makes his appearance the two of them squeal “Daddy” and are off scampering to him. But I have to admit, having them off my hands is a bit of a relief too.
D: Ha ha ha!

D: LOL!! Welcome here, Anuradha. My husband and I have still not been able to get a clear cut answer from our daughter as to who her favorite parent is. Every time we ask she gets away by saying ‘Both’ π

I have seen happiness elude
when we have this attitude
of expecting some gratitude
and when we don’t get it
go into a state of lassitude.
I was kidding. Being the father of 2 teenaged SONS I know the neglect. The saving grace is both mother and father are treated with the same contempt. π
D: Welcome here, Govind π Those 5 lines summed up the basic human nature.
