Confession of a chocoholic mom!

So you are a good mom if you have successfully beaten the temptation to polish off a huge chunk of a dark chocolate cake and saved it up for your daughter instead!

But you are a mean mom if your daughter offers you the cake and you pounce on it without even asking her if she has truly had her fill!

  1. I am a good mom because my daughter has no liking for sweets and happily passes on the cake to me and I oblige by polishing the plate off in seconds, just to show my baby how obedient a mom am I πŸ™‚

    1. Although the picture I shared above is not what we actually had, it is of the exact same kind but. The one that KFC offers. Both daughter & I absolutely love their chocolate cakes! Ooooh now I feel like having one more! πŸ˜€

  2. You wouldn’t be a mean mom in the latter case – I say, it is only a human thing to do. πŸ˜€ I would have done the same.

On a serious note, I am slightly pissed about all the forwards about the mother saving her piece of cake to feed the daughter. High time children realised that their mom is a human being too and that she would love to have a piece of cake too!

  4. I mean, I do understand the sentiment behind the quote/forwards, but I don’t think it is healthy when children begin to expect that the mother will give up her share always. She is a human being too, after all!
