getting these sorted in place..
And realizing in the process how much of a book-hoarder we had turned into. As Namnam had shockingly exclaimed as soon as she walked into the room,” Oh my God! I didn’t realize we had so many books in this house!”.
Well I, of course thought that we could do better!
So I’m off to place some bulk order. Flipkart, Amazon, you be ready!
Well, we have a little game of word-search going on here. One more word to go. Who can spot it- Namnam or Amma?! 🙂 🙂
So? You may ask.
Nothing. I say.
I just needed a title for this post, which, BTW, is about nothing in particular. Since I couldn’t think of anything, just wrote whatever came to my mind first! 😀
So, the summer holidays have started and the good thing to come with it is the extra hour of sleep in the morning! Yep, the alarm clock which, till last month used to holler into my ears every morning at 5 has now been set to “OFF” position for the next two months.
The roads are slowly beginning to sport a barren look with most of the people away on their vacations already.
There is no ease on my driving though, since Namnam has enrolled in a summer workshop which requires me to pick and drop her every day. And then, with R’s car out for servicing, I have temporarily taken up a job of chauffeuring him to and from his office as well 🙂 Not that I mind though..I like to drive, but I have lately been experiencing an excruciating amount of pain in my feet which makes me wonder if I should take it a bit easy.
Which is why I am really looking forward to going home, even though the trip is still a few weeks away. A good break from the monotonous routine, a good rest to my legs, a good few weeks in the pampering hands of my Ma is what I need, to feel up and about again.
As for Namnam, well, aside the workshop, this is what she has been upto..
So what have you all been upto?
Yes, thats what it is going to be. Because I dont have anything to write about.
After an insanely busy weekend I had such a lazy day today that I didnt feel like doing anything. I was so lazy that I couldn’t bring myself to wake up in the morning and send Namnam to school even. The whole day passed by with nothing much happening aside the fact that Namnam realized that she had a new favorite colour- Blue and that she had to stamp the fact with a blue frock, blue legging, a blue bracelet and a blue hair-band! And also she wanted to know what jaw-bones were, why is summer hot, what will happen if didn’t nod our head, what will happen if there were no steering in the car, what will happen if I didn’t apply brakes??? And all of this she wanted in the span of 15 minutes of being driven to her playgroup! 🙄 🙄 🙄
Anyway, in a nutshell too lazy to even write a post 😀
Instead let me leave you with this beautiful song that Hitchy shared on FB and which happens to be one of my favorites too. Thank you so much, Hitchy for this and very sorry that I missed seeing the tag in the morning.
Gulzar and RD Burman- the magical and inimitable duo! Enjoy 🙂
